Description

Birds and wildlife are right at home in these two restored riparian areas along the Sacramento River. Join one of the area's top birders as you hike into two large scale habitat restorations sites, Hamilton City Project and the Ord Bend Unit, where reviving the native habitat was essential to birds, wildlife, and flood protection for communities. The river is a magnet for birds, and some past sightings have included Peregrine Falcon, Bald Eagle, Barrow's Goldeneye, and White-throated Sparrow. Bring snacks, water, and binoculars.
