Description

Teach anyone and everyone about birds at this Flying WILD workshop, which is held at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. The Flying WILD Guide is designed to help teachers, volunteers, and students lead activities and have fun with individuals of all ages. Information will be shared about birds and their migration and habitats, and you will be given examples of service learning projects. Flying WILD uses various subject matters to teach students the lessons in the guide, including science, language arts, physical education, and social science. Participants will also receive an introduction to the Junior Duck Stamp program as well as Junior Duck Stamp curriculum materials. Snacks and refreshments are included, but please pack a lunch and be prepared to work through lunch.
