Description

Wildlife and wintering waterfowl are exceptional at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge, especially along the gravel auto tour, the nature trail, and at the observation deck. Spectacular flights of Snow Geese and Ross’s Geese along with thousands of Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Mallard, Gadwall, and Northern Shovelers can be seen in the marshes.
