Description

Delevan NWR is one of 15 National Wildlife Refuge units along the Interstate 5 corridor and home to large numbers of Pacific Flyway's wintering waterfowl and host to hundreds of shorebirds, herons, egrets and raptors. Join Harry, author of Freeway Birding, as he guides you into the heart of one of his favorite "freeway" birding areas. Then we'll travel to Sacramento NWR to witness thousands of birds in their spectacular ‘fly-off'. Please bring snacks, water, binoculars, and a scope (if you have one), and wear layered clothing for winter wear.
