Description
This a rare opportunity to journey into multiple river restoration sites on over 2,000 acres along the Sacramento River in Glenn County. These properties are being managed by multiple agencies to provide wildlife habitat, flood protection, and other benefits to the surrounding communities. We will hike the properties, enjoy the river, and see some great birds. Some past sightings have included Peregrine Falcon, Ferruginous Hawk, Barrow's Goldeneye, and White-throated Sparrow. Bring snacks, water, and binoculars.
