Description

We will travel to Colusa NWR to photograph waterfowl from the viewing platform. This is where Jeff has spent many hours capturing fantastic photos of the Central Valley’s waterfowl, especially the Snow and Ross’s Geese, Greater White-fronted Goose, Northern Pintail, wigeon, and many other options as well. Be prepared for the weather and bring your big lenses with a tripod. 300mm and longer is best for this field trip. Jeff will share tips on site and answer any and all questions as the birds abound and the sun sets. There will be a chance to lie in the dirt. All ages 15 and older are welcome.
