19th Annual Snow Goose Festival: January 24-27, 2018
Overview

The Sights, Sounds, & Wonders of Birds were enjoyed by all who attended the 2018 Snow Goose Festival of the Pacific Flyway!

An array of weather played a role - rain, fog, wind, crisp temps, and then sunshine to end this exceptional winter birding festival.

Yet, spirits were high among field trip participants who explored local, far-reaching and some less visited bird areas lead by exceptional leaders. Also, we had a record year with 166 birds sighted or heard on field trips!

Attendees at workshop presentations looked forward to learning about birds and the natural world from very informative and enjoyable presenters.

With many youth attending over the weekend, they brought much joy and pleasure to all of us. Their presence ignites something amazing - positive energy!

Then in the mix of the flock, we had a warm and inviting Art Reception & Exhibit, a top-notch Banquet & Silent Auction with an exceptional keynote speaker, and vendors and exhibitors, who were all delighted to be here.

Birding memories were made that will last a lifetime. People got outside and connected with birds and met birders. Families and youth experienced time together with the greater natural world and the wonders of birds. They found a new passion like no other, Birds & Birding!

See you next year at the 19th Annual Snow Goose Festival, January 23 – 27, 2019

Have a great year of birding!
