Description

Come along for an interesting hike focused on fire ecology, burn areas, and preview of a new trail system, with a finish at Paradise Lake. Includes interesting fire recovery work at Coutolenc Park. Bring lunch, water, snacks, sturdy hiking boots, and trekking poles if desired. This hike is recommended for fit hikers, as it includes some steep slopes and rough terrain.

Dan Efseaff has over 20 years of experience as a restoration ecologist and land manager. Currently, he is the District Manager for the Paradise Recreation and Park District. Mr. Efseaff has experience with a wide variety of restoration projects, conservation and agricultural lands management, education and outreach, water conservation, and overseeing watershed programs.
